Ahead of the imminent arrival of Frank Mhango at Kaizer Chiefs, Steyn takes a gander at Kaizer Chiefs attacking department.

Amakhosi will be entering the 8th season without winning a major trophy having last savored the title success in the 2014/15 season under Baxter. The Naturena-based side hasn't had a rub of green as they fired blanks several times.

However, this season they appointed Molefi Ntseki, who replaced Arthur Zwane, as their coach to fire on all cylinders to put to an end the trophy drought which has engulfed the club for the last seven years.

They have welcomed in seven new signings in Potsane, Chivaviro, Mmodi, Dithlokwe, Msimango, Castillo and Mdantsane at the headquarters, Naturena.

With the proposed arrival of Mhango it appears like the Soweto giants will boast an embarrassment of riches in their attacking department as they already have Caleb, who started a season like a house on fire but waned as the season progressed, with injuries seemingly being a major concern. He was the Kaizer Chiefs' last season top scorer.

Chivaviro, who had the best season of his life at Marumo Gallants, plundering a whopping amount of 20 goals saw Amakhosi prise him away from the relegated side in this transfer windows. He will add more potency to their striking department, a side that was berefted of goals.

Ashley Du Preez. Kaizer Chiefs' last season top performer, he huffed and puffed with his blistering pace as he helped the glamor boys secure the top 8 spot. Another player that is lethal, we will see what he has at his disposal in this upcoming season.

Christian Saile, another player that started like a house on fire but waned as well as the season progressed. He signed for Kaizer Chiefs in January, however, has been performing poor in some games. Hopefully, he will bounce back next season.

Mhango, who is rumored to be on his way to Naturena, will complete the puzzle and will score a lot of goals despite being ill-disclipined.

Molefi Ntseki will have a large pool of options to choose from in his ammunition.
