Brimming with confidence ahead of their clash against Mamelodi Sundowns, following the midweek comprehensive 3-0 victory over the Team of Choice, Amakhosi will be in quest of the second win of the season when they lock horns with Masandawana this afternoon at Loftus Versveld. Kickoff 15:00

With the reigning defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns having suffered a 1-0 shock defeat against TS Galaxy on Wednesday , their first win over the Brazilians since they were promoted to the South African top-flight league , they will be looking to bounce back at the expense of Arthur Zwane's troops.

The clash of these two clubs have always set tongue wagging in football fraternity. With Amakhosi in a state of flux, they will be looking to claim a scalp over the injured tigers, Mamelodi Sundowns, who just recently suffered a shock defeat in the midweek. On the Brazilians side it will be a matter of getting back to winning ways in order to defend their title.

Amakhosi are boosted by the signing of the former Cape Town City left-Back Edmilson Dove, who, was previously on the books of UD Songo in his country. He joins Amakhosi as a free agent after parting ways with UD Songo, with two year deal lined up for the Mozambican international. The arrival of Dove resulted in Sibusiso Mabiliso being released, with Austin Dube's future also uncertain at the club, his former club, Richard's Bay interested in prising him away from Amakhosi either on loan or permanent deal.
