The former is in quest of securing a historic treble when they lock horns with the latter, who, last won the European title under the leadership of Jose Mourinho in 2010.

However, City will be looking to put their past heartbreaks behind them  by landing the first major European title to their already well-decorated cabinet as they came closet to winning it in 2020 when they snatched a defeat from the jaw of victory against then Tuchel's Chelsea.

Individually, the most prestigious champions league trophy evaded the Spanish international for quite sometime, having won it when he was still at the helm of Fc Barcelona - where he steered the catalans giants to two Champions league trophies in four years.

Subsequent to that, it has agonizingly eluded him even at Bayern Munich, he failed to deliver it . Can Pep finally end City's champions league hoodo when they face off against Inter of Italy tonight in Istanbul?

Conversely, Inzaghi's side last won this competition in 2010 with the side that boasted a star-studded team like Pep's side they are going to meet tonight. Can Nerazzurri stand in City's way of winning their first elusive champions league title? It remains to be seen, don't take Inzaghi's side for granted they are going to give City a run for their money...

We are set for an intriguing Uefa Champions league final between City that clinched the Premier  league title and Inter that finished third in Serie A

Kaizer chiefs register their first win of the season By : Maswanganyi Wisane Steyn  Date : 09 August 2022 Amakhosi made two alterations from their Saturday defeat at the hands of Royal AM, with Solomons and George Matlou being called on to replace Njabulo Blom and Cole Alexander respectively. It was kaizer chiefs that took the lead in the 3rd minutes through the new signee Ashley Du Preez, scoring on his home league debut. However, the minutes later Amakhosi benefited from goalkeeping error as they piled more pressure on King Ndlovu, who ultimately resulted in a blunder falling into Keegan Dolly's feet, who gleefully scored to extend the lead. The debutant, George Matlou suffered a knee injury after colliding with the former kaizer chiefs left-back Keegan Ritchie.
