With Amakhosi lying fifth on the log, they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways at the expense of the in-form Mamelodi Sundowns. Zwane's side have succumbed to two successive defeats in the Dstv Premiership including a 4-0 battering at the hands of Amazulu last friday. While, the tshwane-giants will be looking to make history by recording 12 successive wins when they clash with Amakhosi at FNB stadium on Saturday evening @20h00. The Chloorkop-based outfit lead the standings by 43 points after 17 games, with Amakhosi trailing the pacesetters by 19 points. Rhulani Mokwena's side trounced kaizer chiefs 4-0 in the reverse fixture. Kaizer chiefs register their first win of the season By : Maswanganyi Wisane Steyn  Date : 09 August 2022 Amakhosi made two alterations from their Saturday defeat at the hands of Royal AM, with Solomons and George Matlou being called on to replace Njabulo Blom and Cole Alexander respectively. It was kaizer chiefs that took the lead in the 3rd minutes through the new signee Ashley Du Preez, scoring on his home league debut. However, the minutes later Amakhosi benefited from goalkeeping error as they piled more pressure on King Ndlovu, who ultimately resulted in a blunder falling into Keegan Dolly's feet, who gleefully scored to extend the lead.
